Bucket and Sponge Relay Race


Supplies
2 Buckets, 2 sponges of the same size and 2 clear containers of the same size.

Instruction
The players race with a wet sponge to take water from the bucket to where the clear container is located to fill it up with water.

Party Games for Kids

Catch My Hear

Supplies:
  • Three or four heart-shaped bean bags
Instructions:
  • This game works best with a large groups (12-20 players)
  • Have the players stand in a circle facing each other.
  • Hand one player a heart-shaped bean bag and tell the player holding the bag to call out another player's name and then gently toss the bag to him/her
  • The player whose name was called catches the bag and then call out another player's name and throws it to him/her
  • Give the players some time to feel comfortable throwing and catching the bag
  • Once everyone's feeling confident, throw a second bag into the mix, then the third, and fourth bag
  • Whoever drops a bag looses and gets out of the circle
  • The last 5 or 6 players are the winners

Inexpensive but yet Fun Games for Kids


Find the Hearts

Supplies:
  • 100 or more construction paper hearts cut out
  • Timer
Instructions:
  • Hide the hearts when the kids are not present.
  • Organize the kids in two or three groups
  • Set the timer for a few minutes and have the kids find the hearts
  • When the time is over have the groups count how many hearts they have
  • The group with the highest number of hearts collected wins.

Supplies (3 items)
Paper hearts for each player with a piece of tape on the back and their name on the front, a blindfold, and a big picture of cupid. Instructions
Step 1: Blindfold the first player
Step 2: Spin player around Step 3: Have the player stick the heart on Cupid
Step 4: Repeat steps 1, 2, and 3 until all player had tried to stick the heart on Cupid
Step 5: Give a prize to the player or players that were able to stick the heart on Cupid

Steal my heart game

Supplies (3 items)
Medium size bowl, chopsticks and candy heartsSteal my heart game with heart candiesInstructions
Step 1: Place the candy hearts in the bowl, then place the bowl of candy hearts on a low table and give each player a set of chopsticks.
Step 2: Set a timer for about 2 to 3 minutes, or the time you thinks is fair depending on the age of the kids participating.
Step 3: At the sound of a whistle the players start to remove the candy hearts of the bowl using their chopsticks. When the timer rings, the participants count their hearts and the one with most hearts wins.
